Grilled Mahi Mahi With Brown Rice Recipe

Ingredients:
  • 6 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 6 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Soy sauce
  • 4 mahi mahi fillets, about 4 to 6 oz. Each (or use swordfish or halibut)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cups cooked brown rice
Instructions:

In a small bowl, combine first 8 ingredients. Sprinkle mahi mahi fillets with salt and pepper; place into a gallon-size zip-top bag and pour in marinade. Seal and shake gently to coat fish evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours but no more than 6 hours.
Preheat grill to medium-low. Grill fillets, turning carefully, 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until fish begins to brown and flakes with a fork.

Spoon a good 1/2 cup of brown rice onto each individual dinner plate and top each with a fillet of fish. Garnish with lemon wedges and more fresh herbs, if desired. The grilled mahi mahi recipe is ready to serve.....enjoy it !

Grilled Mahi Mahi Recipe on Chopped Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
***Salad and dressing:***
  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup marinated artichoke hearts, drained and coarsely chopped
  • 3/4 cup finely diced red bell pepper
  • 4 tablespoons thin sliced sweet onion
  • 3 cups thinly shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 2 cups mache or arugula leaves
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped fresh basil
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
***Mahi mahi:***
  • 1 1/3 pound mahi mahi fillet
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
Directions:

To prepare salad and dressing: Prepare cucumber, artichoke hearts, bell pepper, sweet onion, lettuce, mache or arugula and basil. Place in a bowl with the greens on top, cover with a paper towel and refrigerate.
Combine lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper in a small jar.
Refrigerate until ready to use. Shake before using.
To prepare mahi mahi fish: About 15 minutes before cooking, remove mahi mahi fish from refrigerator and cut into serving pieces. Brush olive oil over mahi mahi fish and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Preheat grill until very hot; lightly oil grill.
Place fish, flesh-side down, on grill and cook 12 minutes per inch of thickness, or until just cooked through. Turn halfway through cooking time. (Or bake fish in a preheated 450-degree oven about 12 minutes per inch of thickness, or until cooked through.)

When the mahi mahi fish is almost finished, toss salad with most of lemon dressing and divide among plates. Remove mahi mahi fish from oven; cut into large chunks and remove skin. (It should come off easily.) Place mahi mahi fish on top of salad, but don't toss. Drizzle with remaining lemon dressing and the grilled mahi mahi recipe on chopped salad is ready to serve immediately.

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut fillets in 1 1/2" to 2" strips. Marinate in Italian dressing several hours. Put fillets on a greased grill rack over hot charcoal. Cook until fish flakes.The grilled mahi mahi recipe is ready to serve..enjoy it !

  • 6 pieces (6 oz size) mahi mahi
  • 1/2 cup raspberry vinegar
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3/4 cup cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
INSTRUCTIONS

Rub the butter on bottom of the baking dish; arrange the Mahi Mahi fish in the dish.
Pour the vinegars and cream over the Mahi Mahi fish, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover with parchment paper. Bake in oven at 450 degress for 12 minutes. The grilled mahi mahi recipe is ready...enjoy it !

Soy-Grilled Mahi Mahi Recipe with Korean Dipping Sauce

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 pieces Mahi Mahi

Sauce/Marinade:
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 T Rice vinegar (not seasoned)
  • 1 T sesame oil
  • 2 T Splenda or brown sugar
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp. garlic puree (also called ground garlic)
  • pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, Splenda or brown sugar, green onion, garlic puree and cayenne or hot sauce in small bowl.
Put half of mixture into a small ziploc bag with the two pieces of fish and marinate at room temperature for 10-15 minutes.
While fish marinates, spray grill with non-stick spray or wipe with olive oil, then preheat grill to medium-high (you can only hold your hand there 2-3 seconds.)
Put fish Mahi Mahi on grill with top side down and grill 2-3 minutes (until you can start to see grill marks, I have to lift it up to see.)
Rotate 45 degrees on same side and cook 2-3 minutes more to get criss-cross marks. Turn Mahi Mahi fish over and cook about 3-4 minutes more.
Total cooking time will not be more than 8-10 minutes, The fish should feel barely firm when it's done; don't overcook. Serve hot, with dipping sauce on the side. The grilled mahi mahi recipe is ready to serve...enjoy it ! Nice !

MAHI MAHI ALMANDINE

MAHI MAHI ALMANDINE ....a great grilled mahi mahi recipe to try ! Amazing taste !

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 to 8 oz. Mahi Mahi fillets
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/4 c. slivered almonds
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • Minced parsley
  • Lemon juice

INSTRUCTIONS
Rinse and wipe fillets dry. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix garlic second lemon juice with oil. Marinate fish for 30 minutes.
Remove from marinade and place pieces on a greased, heated grill, arranging so the fillets do not touch each other. Brush fish frequently with the marinade. Grill 4or 5 minutes on each side. Cook
until fish flakes easily.

Top with almond topping. Saute 1/4 cup slivered almonds in 2 tablespoons butter until light, golden brown. Stir in minced parsley and a few drops of lemon juice. Spoon over grilled fish and serve immediately. The grilled mahi mahi recipe is ready to serve....! Enjoy it !

POACHED MAHI-MAHI (FISH)

POACHED MAHI-MAHI (FISH) ..an amazing grilled mahi mahi recipe to try....nice taste !

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 2 tbsp. lime juice
  • 2 tbsp. minced dill
  • 1 lb. mahi-mahi
  • Dilly seafood sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
In large skillet, combine wine, lime juice and dill; bring to a boil over high heat. Add mahi-mahi and reduce heat to medium; cook, covered, 10 minutes per inch. Thickness of fish or until fish flakes easily with fork. Remove from liquid.
Serve with sauce.

Sauce: Combine in small bowl 1 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup milk, 1/4 cup chopped dill pickle, 2 tablespoons dill pickle juice and 1 tablespoon horseradish. Mix well. Chill overnight or several hours. The grilled mahi mahi recipe is ready to serve....enjoy the mahi mahi !
